Environmental Ambassadors Support Local Community Clean Up

On Friday, 7th November 2025, five of our Environmental Ambassadors proudly represented Harper Green School during a community litter picking event to help keep our local area litter free.
Working alongside local volunteers, Bolton Council staff and Environmental Enforcement Officers, our students dedicated two hours to helping improve the local environment. Their hard work, teamwork and positive attitude were praised by all involved.
One student said, “We really enjoyed helping other members of our community and we are proud to represent our school in the local area.”
Another added, “It made us realise how much of a problem litter is and it made us think about what we need to do as student leaders to reduce littering at Harper Green.”
We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Harper Green School, showing care for the environment and commitment to their community. Their contribution is a great example of the positive difference our students can make both inside and outside of school.
