Harper Green School Open Evening 2025

This year’s annual Open Evening, held on Thursday, 18th September 2025, was a fantastic event with the highest number of prospective families attending in recent years. The school had a welcoming and lively atmosphere as visitors explored the site, met our staff and students, and found out more about what makes Harper Green a ‘Good’ school.
Families had the opportunity to tour our facilities, take part in a variety of hands-on activities and speak to teachers and students about learning and life at Harper Green. Many also attended one of the Headteacher talks, which offered an insight into our school’s vision, academic progress and the opportunities available both inside and outside the classroom.
The feedback from the evening was extremely positive, with many visitors commenting on the warmth of the staff, the enthusiasm of our students and the strong sense of community that runs throughout the school.
In addition to the Open Evening, we also hosted a successful Open Day, where prospective students and their families were able to visit during the school day. They enjoyed guided tours, saw live lessons in action and met members of our Year 7 team, gaining a real sense of what learning at Harper Green is like.
Both events were wonderful opportunities to showcase what makes Harper Green School a ‘Good’ school, a place where students are supported, challenged and inspired to achieve their ambitions and full potential.
