KS4 Drama Students Take Part in Splendid Productions Workshop
Monday, 2nd February 2026

Our KS4 BTEC Drama students recently took part in an inspiring workshop led by Grace Goulding from Splendid Productions, designed to support their work for Component 3 of the course.
The session had a highly positive and engaging impact, strengthening students’ devising skills while deepening their understanding of non-naturalistic drama techniques. Across the three-hour workshop, students participated in a range of practical activities that encouraged them to create and develop original ideas in response to a stimulus.
Working both independently and collaboratively, students focused on communicating meaning effectively to an audience. Throughout the session, students’ confidence, independence and teamwork developed as they were encouraged to take creative risks and reflect critically on their ideas and the devising process.
The workshop provided valuable insight into professional practice and gave students the opportunity to develop key performance skills in a supportive and creative environment.
