Summer School 2025 – A Fantastic Start for Our New Year 7s!

Our annual Summer School was a wonderful way to welcome the students joining us in Year 7 this September. Over four days, students took part in a range of activities designed to build confidence, teamwork and a sense of belonging as they begin their Harper Journey.
The week began with team-building challenges and creative problem-solving activities, helping everyone to get to know one another and work together. As the days went on, there was plenty to enjoy, from catapult building and mystery solving to house games, cookery, circus skills and even an escape room challenge. The week ended on a high with some brilliant dance moves and lots of smiles all round.
As always, it was lovely to see our new students making friends, working together, and showing such enthusiasm throughout. The feedback has been really positive and we’re so proud of how well they embraced every challenge.
Our new Year 7s were fantastic and we can’t wait to welcome them back in September to see all they go on to achieve at Harper Green School.
