Yasmin Qureshi MP Visits Harper Green for International Women’s Day

We were honoured to welcome Yasmin Qureshi MP to Harper Green School on Friday, 7th March 2025, as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations. Her visit provided a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in meaningful conversations about leadership, representation and breaking barriers.
During her visit, she shared insights into her role as an MP and female leader, inspiring students with her journey and experiences in politics. She also met with a group of young women who are passionate about making a difference in their community.
Reflecting on the visit on social media, Yasmin Qureshi MP said, "I had a fantastic morning at Harper Green on Friday, meeting incredible students and the dedicated staff who work so hard to put pupils first. I ended the visit with a truly inspiring group of young women who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Their energy, ideas, and ambition give me so much hope for the future!"
