Student Leadership

At Harper Green, student leadership plays a key role in shaping school life. Our leadership teams and council are made up of elected representatives from every year group and house, giving pupils the opportunity to influence important decisions on areas such as rewards, enrichment and teaching and learning. By taking on these responsibilities, students develop confidence, teamwork, and communication skills while helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. Through regular meetings, projects and events, our student leaders work alongside staff to ensure Harper Green is a place where every student can thrive.

A Rewarding Year So Far

Our student leaders have had a rewarding year so far, taking on a variety of roles that have made a real impact across school life. They have:
-
Introduced and maintained a prefect litter-picking rota, keeping our school grounds clean and welcoming every break and lunchtime.
-
Played an active role in leadership meetings, sharing ideas and representing the views of their peers.
-
Supported at parental evenings, welcoming families and helping events run smoothly.
-
Encouraged student participation in House Events and helped to organise and run them.
-
Taken part in leadership events focused on mental health, building awareness and promoting wellbeing in our community.
